We love the Rose Cottage and the Captains Cottage, which is larger. Cape Porpoise is a lovely, quiet community and there are several good restaurants within walking distance. There is also a local gourmet market and a small grocery store. The area is dry scenic and Kennebunkport is just down the road.
Other than welcoming us to the property, we had very little interaction with any staff, which we appreciated.

We were in for our 20th wedding anniversary from Texas. Rose Cottage was pristine, and perfect in every way! We loved being in Cape Purpoise, close to Kennebunkport, but quiet and away from the hustle and bustle and traffic. The church bells were an added bonus! Thanks for everything!

Rose Cottage afforded a superb stay at Cape Porpoise!! The amenities and furnishings were superior! Also enjoyed the landscaping and exterior. We dined out each night ! Kitchen however was equipped with everything to have breakfast and dinner. We look forward to returning in the future!!! Thank you for this great opportunity!
